We do not collect personal information such as names, emails, or passwords. TrackGuess processes only the playlist URL you provide in order to fetch tracks from Spotify.
The playlist URL is used solely to retrieve track information:
This information is then displayed in TrackGuess to generate the blind test cards. No playlist information is stored permanently on our servers.
To enforce fair usage, TrackGuess tracks the number of card generations per user or per device. Each user is limited to a maximum of 10 card generations per day. This tracking uses a temporary identifier stored in memory during your session and is not shared with third parties.
TrackGuess uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, such as page views, session duration, and general usage patterns. This data helps us understand how the service is used and improve the user experience.
Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. These cookies are used only for analytics purposes and do not identify you personally. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.
TrackGuess interacts with the Spotify Web API. Your use of Spotify is subject to Spotify’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Any data processed by TrackGuess (playlist information and daily usage counters) exists temporarily in memory during your session. No data is saved to disk or cloud storage.
While TrackGuess does not store personal data, we take reasonable measures to ensure that any temporary data fetched from Spotify or used for tracking daily limits is handled securely during your session.
TrackGuess is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of TrackGuess constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
