Game Rules

Objective

Be the player with the most correctly guessed songs — or master the challenge of placing them in the right order in Timeline Mode.

What you need

• A deck of TrackGuess cards (generated from your Spotify playlist).
• A smartphone with a QR code scanner and the Spotify app.
• Two or more players.

Setup

1. Print and cut your TrackGuess cards.
2. Shuffle the deck thoroughly.
3. Place the deck face down in the middle of the table.

How to play

1. On your turn, draw the top card without looking at the front.
2. Give the card to another player, who scans the QR code on the back.
3. The music starts playing.
4. Guess the title and artist of the song. (Optional: try the year for an extra challenge!)
5. Flip the card to check the answer.
6. If correct, keep the card as a point. If wrong, discard it.

Winning

The game ends when all cards have been played. The player with the most correct cards wins 🎉

Variations

• Speed Round: First player to shout the correct answer wins the card.
• Year Challenge: A point is only awarded if the year is guessed correctly.
• Team Play: Divide into teams and guess together.
• Timeline Mode: Instead of collecting points, players place their cards in chronological order to build a timeline of songs. Correctly placed cards stay in the timeline, while mistakes are discarded. The first player to build a timeline of 10 correct songs wins!
